Since the PRWG - Iraq expanded its efforts to cover Diyala, Anbar, Salaheddin and Kirkuk in addition to Nineveh, the working group's membership has increased especially in terms of the national NGOs.
Many of our national NGO members have reached out to us asking us to conduct a special session on how to apply for an EUI number to access US funding streams. Conducting such a session also aligns with our efforts to localise the working group. Thus, PRWG - Iraq and in coordination and collaboration with the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts in Erbil reached out to the US consulate and together will be conducting a special session detailing the know how's and the procedures behind applying for and obtaining an EUI number. The session will be facilitated by: - Kim Strollo (Public Affairs Officer - US Consulate) - Rebeen Wali (Resource Coordination Specialist - US Consulate) The session is open to national NGOs and will be held at the General Directorate of Syriac Culture and Arts' Syriac Heritage Museum conference hall, which is located in Ankawa - Erbil near Tel Qasra Mount and St. Georges Church. The session will be held on Thursday the 3rd of October 2024 from 14:00 - 16:00. Space is limited and you are strongly advised to register your attendance as soon as possible. |
